Tapibel is a passionate international carpet producer based in Pelt (Belgium). Managing Director Werner Verweyen comments, “As a Limburg-based company, we are a reliable partner with a strong focus on service and quality.” For over 75 years, Tapibel has been producing carpet for the B2B sector, including both carpet tiles and wall-to-wall carpet. Our focus during the Flanders Flooring Days? Design, innovation, and sustainability.

Sustainable design

The four  to a serene urban design. Thanks to the regenerated ECONYL®  yarn used, 90% fewer CO₂ emissions are released during production of this carpet. Visitors can now also discover our ECONYL® collections, featuring 16 qualities available in over 12 colours. The collections can be mixed and matched to create a unique look.

New world
Step inside the luxurious world of Tapibel. Discover our exceptionally soft, luxurious, and sustainable carpets. Dive into the New Worlds  collections. Almyra, Soneva, Matera, Matera Primo, and Medina are all luxurious silky soft carpets that work beautifully in both residential and hospitality settings.

Luxurious rugs
Tapibel is also presenting a brand-new product during the Flanders Flooring Days: rugs – 100% Made in Belgium of the same sustainable core yarn as in the silky soft New Worlds collections. Available in a range of organic shapes, sizes, and finishes that make you feel as if you’re walking on clouds and make a statement in any space.

Unique patterns
Finally, Tapibel is introducing the Cobalt Design Collections : unique loop pile designs in polyamide that combine perfectly thanks to their shared colour palette. From concrete to honeycomb and wood texture, the collections are inspired by contemporary patterns and natural materials. The result? A series of flooring concepts that impress in any setting.

Ecological initiatives
Twise  is our umbrella sustainability brand underpinned by Tapibel’s ecological initiatives. Apart from regenerated ECONYL® yarn, the brand also features Ecofuse , a latex-free adhesive, and Greenbase , a more ecological version of the bitumen backing. Twise was developed as part of Tapibel’s efforts to support smart carpet production for a greener planet. The perfect example of how we do our part to contribute to a circular economy and reduce waste.
